Location, location, location!

It’s about time HGTV made it to the Golden Isles! St. Simons Island is one of the dreamiest spots in our country. From the beach to the marsh, the food and shopping, to the history, this island has something for everyone.

If you’re just now falling in love with this locale, come fall in love with my sweet (clean) contemporary romances about St. Simons and the surrounding area.

Hey everyone!

On Saturday from 2:30 to 4pm I’ll be at the Aspen Library in Vernon Hills. It’s my first book fair and I’d love to meet you. I’ll have books for sale and will be one of a group of great authors.

Have a question you’re dying to ask? Wondering what’s next for your favorite characters? Stop by and we’ll chat!

Hope to see you there!

The year that was

Goodbye 2016!

2016 was a year of professional growth for me.

I published four novels and one novella in two series. I thought I’d wrapped up my True North series, but I just can’t shake the Apostle Islands. Next month I’ll be releasing two True North novellas on Valentine’s Day. In writing those stories, I realized I wasn’t done with my favorite place on earth.

In 2017, I’m excited to spin-off from the main branch of characters to explore a new group of heroes and heroines making their lives and finding love when (and where) they least expect it. I’m in the very early stages of the next two books. I’m working on them back to back and will keep you posted.

Attending the RWA national conference in San Diego over the summer was an absolute blessing. I feel very fortunate that I got to attend to finally meet in person a few of the incredible people who have helped me find my path. I learned so much from the workshops I attended, loved getting to meet the incredible crew at Harlequin’s Heartwarming line (and have only been even more encouraged to keep working hard on my stories), and soaked up every moment. Crossing my fingers that I can head back next summer.

More than anything, 2016 taught me perseverance. I finally established a routine that works for me and my family. I’m excited for the possibilities ahead and hope to use the lessons learned this year to make 2017 even bigger and better.

Wishing you all a happy and healthy New Year!
