Happy Birthday Anchored in the Bay!

Wow! I can’t believe I started this journey into publishing a year ago.

I’ve “met” so many people who have supported me, encouraged me, and helped me become both a better author AND a better self-publisher. I’ve learned more about marketing then I ever imagined. And everyday I’m getting better at my craft. Thank you for coming along on this journey with me.

I’m also delighted to be releasing the final books in the True North series this summer. I have loved getting to know these characters and hope you do too. I’m excited to share the final stories with you and to be working on my next books.

Speaking of next books, Tidal Patternsis my first sweet romance but not my last. I’m hard at work on two sequels and hope to get those out this year too (stay tuned for updates).

If you haven’t read any of my books yet, I’d love if you’d check them out here. Kindle Unlimited subscribers can read my books for free.

Just when you think you’d got your life in order … November 26, 2015
Just when you think you’d got your life in order an old boyfriend comes back into your life. Add in morning sickness and life sure gets complicated.
I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
All seems good until Ed shows back up determined to get Emily … October 15, 2015
I received the book from the author in exchange for an honest review. My first read of Rachelle Paige. Emily & Ed had a past relationship until Ed left Emily. I felt sorry for Emily but she moved on having her own business and new boyfriend Ryan in which she is pregnant. All seems good until Ed shows back up determined to get Emily back. A good read.
A fun, heart-warming read May 12, 2015

This is a cute little story about budding entrepreneur Emily, who runs the local coffee shop in a small town on the coast. When Emily’s high school/college sweetheart comes back to town after leaving 8 years ago, they quickly find out that their feelings are still just as intense as ever, though the fact she’s pregnant with her boyfriend’s baby does complicate things.

The story is well played out, and the characters are nicely developed, including a cast of supporting characters who really add some richness to the plot. There are a few missteps in the middle but it’s got a beautiful setting and the DIY/reno subplot make up for it.

The book aims for heart-warming rather than racy, apart from one steamier scene. Also, while there’s a definite focus on the romance, the pregnancy aspects are quite a significant portion of the book as well. Definitely worth a read!

I feel rather like I’m standing on top of a chair, wildly waving my arms to get your attention this week, haha.

But it’s a big week for me. Anchored in the Bay (True North 1) is on sale and I’ve lined up spots on some great websites to help spread the word.

Today’s website is The Fussy Librarian. This site is designed to help you find your next favorite book. Let’s be honest, it’s a little overwhelming the number of books out there (let alone ebooks). The Fussy Librarian does the work for you. Enter your email, tell them your favorite genres and how hot you like your books, and they do the rest, contacting you with books tailored to your requests.
