This is my favorite saying. It is so true and sort of goes with something I’ve mentioned here before. That being that how I measure success should not detract from how you measure success. And vice versa!
I firmly believe that everyone can achieve their dreams. I think there is room for every aspiring author to be published and read. I’m working hard every day to learn more about the craft of storytelling, to improve my work, and to encourage others.
So, in the vein of not comparing my work to others, I’m heading into another Kindle Scout campaign.
Working with the Kindle Scout team on Tiny Island Summer has been a great experience. Unfortunately, Tidal Patterns wasn’t picked up for publication, but that isn’t stopping me from trying again.
If you have a free second and can stop by and nominate On the Rocks (True North Book 3), I’d be forever grateful. On the Rocks (True North Book 3) is Eric’s story and revisiting both a favorite character and my own alma mater in this book has been a blast.
Check out On the Rocks (True North Book 3). If the book is selected for publication, you’ll receive a free Kindle copy as a thank you!
