Chaos before the calm

With a teen and a tween at home, I think my life has never been busier! Summer time is no exception. While I have a break from all the school runs, I am still shuttling kids from sports to camps to events and back. I don’t mind. These are the days I know I’ll miss! I soak up every second.

But, it does make writing/editing/reading a little tougher to fit into my day.

I’m thrilled How to Spot a Fake is now available!

I keep saying it but this is truly the book of my heart. I am so happy to see it out in the world and hope readers are enjoying it! (If you do read it, please leave a review if you get a chance)

I have been waking up early and writing with my dear friend, Miss Pamala. We joined the Pizza for Pages writing challenge. Every weekday, we sprint together for 40 minutes at 6:30am. I’m working on a couple different things that might only be for me (what I always say!) and am loving the chance to be creative. Writing really recharges my soul.

So does reading! I have been reading a lot lately (I love that I can sit poolside with a book now. Isn’t that picture above dreamy? It’s not quite like that. But still great.) I absolutely DEVOURED Jesse Q. Sutanto’s Aunties books and highly, highly recommend!

I hope your summer is off to a good start!
