I can’t believe how fast this summer has flown! We managed to cram a lot of joy into these weeks, but I’m always shocked when the calendar flips to the beginning of August. Perhaps this year more than ever.

My kids return to school about a week earlier than usual (the end of next week, yikes!). Not sure why (and it caught a lot of us by surprise) but—crossing our fingers—this means we’ll head straight from the pool to the classroom and maybe back. The weather is still very summer-y.

I love summer, and I have a lot of fun with my kids. I’ll be glad to get back to something of a schedule, but I’ll miss the impromptu fun.
