Lady Claire

Humiliated and heartbroken after trying and failing to break up Prince Nico and Kat, Lady Claire Sutherland doesn’t think things can get any worse for her. Until her parents practically exile her to Monterra so she can finish her college degree. In desperate need of a distraction from her troubles, Claire turns to Alessandro, a devastatingly handsome man she meets while he’s tending the Monterran royal family’s gardens. But Alessandro turns out to be more than just a pretty face, and before long Claire can’t ignore the feelings she has for him or the fact that she has a decision to make. Will Lady Claire turn her back on the privileged life waiting for her back in England, or will she give it up to stay with the Monterran farmer she can’t get off her mind?

I’m delighted to welcome Teresa Roman

What inspired your story?

I wanted to write a story about the villain. I wanted to get in her head and explore the reasons she behaves the way she does.

If you traveled to Monterra, how would you meet the Royal family?

I’m not really into the whole “royal family” thing. If I traveled to Monterra I’d rather enjoy the amazing scenery and food than spend time with fancy people.

Do you have any tips for how to make a prince fall in love with a commoner?

Don’t try too hard to impress. Be yourself. I think people admire those of us who are true to ourselves.

About the author:

Teresa Roman writes contemporary and paranormal romance for adults and young adults. If it was possible to be born with a book in her hands, that’s how Teresa would’ve entered this world. Her passion for reading is what inspired her to become a writer. She loves the way stories can take you to another time and place.

Teresa was born in Romania. She has lived on both coasts of the United States and the Midwest but currently calls beautiful Sacramento, CA home. She lives there with her husband, three adorable children, two cats and a dog. When she’s not at her day job or running around with her kids, you can find her in front of the computer writing, or with her head buried in another book.

Forgotten Princess, a Royals of Monterra story

Forgotten Princess

Aria would have been a princess if her family hadn’t lost the monarchy. Since the House of Savoy was forced to flee she’s been roaming Europe with a band of gypsies, only stopping to spend cold winters behind the safe walls of Monterra. Aria has embraced the nomadic life, discovered freedom in travel; she’s finally found her niche in the world. Until Prince Dominic crosses her path. The handsome prince encompasses everything Aria lost, everything she’s been hiding from. She knows better than to get involved, princes don’t date gypsy girls with secrets like hers.

When Prince Dominic finally makes his move, will Aria leave her insecurities in the past or will she run with the gypsies?

A warm welcome to M.R. Pritchard, thanks for stopping by the blog today!

What inspired your story?

Sariah’s “Royals of Monterra” series, of course!

If you traveled to Monterra, how would you meet the Royal family?

If I could choose, maybe in a garden with tea or sipping hot cocoa on the slopes.

Do you have any tips on how to make a prince fall in love with a commoner?

Hmmm. Well, I can’t say I’ve ever known any princes so I’ll give the same tips for regular people. Be yourself and be kind, this will draw goodness to you.

You’ve written several stories set in Monterra, what keeps you coming back to this world?

I just love the Monterra world that Sariah has created and the history that she has created with King Dominic and Aria. I keep coming back to fill in more of the intricate details of their sweet romance before they took the throne.

Check out M.R. Pritchard’s second Royals of Monterra story: The Royals of Monterra: Treasured Princess (Kindle Worlds Novella) (Forgotten Princess Book 2)

After missing from Aria’s life for six weeks, Prince Dominic tracked her to a beach in Istanbul and promised her everything. But once Aria stepped foot on that speedboat she recognized Prince Dominic wasn’t the same boy she left behind in Monterra.

About the author:

M. R. Pritchard now lives on the Gulf Coast of Florida! She holds degrees in Biochemistry and Nursing. She enjoys long walks on the beach and never seeing another snowflake again in her life.

Serafina, a Royals of Monterra story

Serafina

51GlmBJbA-L

Check out this happily ever after! A sweet romance about a first kiss for readers who enjoy fairy tale reading the likes of: Narnia, Alice In Wonderland, and The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

The youngest princess in all of Monterra brashly attempts an innocent kiss with her lifelong friend, Nicholas. Unfortunately, it turns into one of the worst experiences of her life. Nicholas rejects her advance and then tells all of her friends what happened. Enraged, Serafina takes out her anger on an innocent young man which causes him to get in big trouble for something he didn’t do. Serafina’s conscience makes her feel guilty. She can’t believe how the world has suddenly turned so completely upside down. Somehow the princess must figure out how to make things right and help out the boy who the guards are searching for because of her immaturity. Determined to undo her folly, she accidentally stumbles into a magical world that looks much like the garden room she explored as a young child.

Take a mythical adventure through strange lands filled with fairies and ogres as her first life merges into the world she has just discovered. Serafina must learn from her mistakes or become trapped in this foreign land forever. It’s difficult to grow up but well worth the adventure. If Princess Serafina gets it right this time, she may truly right her wrongs and find out if she is truly worthy of the prize she covets most . . . , a first kiss.

Serafina will remind you of the anxieties, awkwardness, and excitement of young love in this romantic fairy tale by Vincent Robert Annunziato.

Welcome, Vincent!

What inspired your story?

The look and feel of Wizard of Oz has always interested me. Serafina is an homage to that typology. The story itself really speaks to first love and the awkwardness of it.

If you traveled to Monterra, how would you meet the Royal family?

I’m one heck of a klutz. I don’t know that I would fare well and although I might imagine myself a James Bond, those who know me, know I’ve never been that smooth. Lol

About the author:

Attention Cross-Genre fans: stay tuned. Since I came from the movie industry originally, fans may be interested to know, I imagine my books from a cinematic perspective. This usually makes my writing less focused on description and more plot oriented. I also like to slowly reveal the narrative so that readers are drawn in further and further as they go along—kind of like the old mystery novels.
