It’s November and that means #NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month). Have you struggled to find time to finish your novel? Do you dream about a story but haven’t tried to write it down? This is your year!

Join me and countless other authors across the country as we set aside the excuses and commit to writing 50,000 words.

I don’t finish within the allotted time frame every year. But! I keep signing up. For me, this is a month to be creatively fearless. This is a chance to reset my year and stretch myself.

This year, I’m working on a passion project. This is the first book in a new series, once again a sweet contemporary romance. Holidays, Inc. is a modern retelling of my favorite movie, Holiday Inn, set in a fictional small-town in Wisconsin. I’m so excited to get started (I’ll take that as a good sign).

I’ll be sharing snippets on Twitter for the #1lineWed (as thematically appropriate). At the end of the month, I’ll be back with an update on how I did. Happy writing!
